ReCoCo - Life Under Representational Regimes catalogue.
The exhibition has traveled from White Space in Zürich, to Kunsthalle Exnergasse in Vienna, and at the beginning of this month opened at MoBY - Museums of Bat Yam, Israel.
The artists showing in the exhibition include:
Boaz Arad and Miki Kratsman, Ariella Azoulay, Lisa Biedlingmaier, Diego Castro, Köken Ergun, Francesco Finizio, Thomas Galler, Orr Herz and Ira Shalit, Oliver Ressler, Roee Rosen, Hito Steyerl, Anna Witt, Hannes Zebedin and the collection of newspaper ads of Rudi Maier.
The exhibition book includes 84 pages of text in Eng.+Heb. with essays by curators Siri Peyer and Joshua Simon, by US philosopher Jodi Dean, by European thinker Boris Buden and by Israeli critic Noam Yuran.
It also includes 14 b/w illustrations and 21 color illustrations.

Link: Giorgio Agamben on a Latin Empire versus German Hegemony
Italian philosopher Giorgio Agamben has revived the idea of a union of Southern European countries, a proposal first launched by another philosopher, Alexandre Kojève, just after World War II. This “Latin Empire” could act as a counter weight to the dominant role played by Germany in the European Union.
